Hmm... people are saying Limbo is short but good. I've only played the demo, though. Presumably you've already played Portal?I'm having a lot of fun right now with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, playing co-op with my wife. It's probably a little longer than those games but worth it in my opinion.
Yeah, I was going to recommend Limbo, too. As much as I get turned off by hyped games, Limbo lives up to the hype, and it's pleasantly short. If you haven't played the Pixel Junk games on PSN, please try Eden and Shooter. Shooter's pretty short, and Eden can be played in short bursts.Sorry if you've already played all of these...
Oh, hey, I just remembered http://www.axelandpixelgame.com/andhttp://amanita-design.net/samorost-1/andhttp://amanita-design.net/samorost-2/
Sweet! Suggestions. I think I might take up most of these. And hello Steve. Nice to see you. :-)
Toy Story 3! :^DIf you're in an adventure gaming mood, you might try some of the Telltale games (if you haven't already):http://www.telltalegames.com/I own almost all of them, although I've only played the first two seasons of Sam & Max and the first two episodes of Strong Bad. I find that they are consistently good (although not consistently great) and nice and short. Of the ones I've played, "Abe Lincoln Must Die" was my favorite, and apparently I wasn't alone, since they chose that one as a free giveaway to get people hooked:http://www.telltalegames.com/samandmax/lincolnmustdieThe disadvantage of playing that particular one is that you'd be starting in the middle of season 1, but if you don't care about that sort of thing then definitely consider checking it out.
@jonpol i need to weasel a TS3 play session from a friend, being the cheapskate i am now. lincolnmustdie sounds interesting too. i don't mind starting from the middle if i can get a gauge on how i like it.
